Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Engineer - South West London Location: South West London (ideally located South of the Thames/within 30 mins of SW and Wandsworth)Salary: Up to £40,000 + £2,000 on Security Clearance + Company Car + BenefitsContract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, working in the South West and South East areas of London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to maintenance calls (both on-site and remotely) as directed by the team coordinators.

• Resolve faults on the first visit where possible.

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.

• Record and update site configuration information.

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

• Participate in an out-of-hours rota to provide emergency support.

• Commission small projects as required.

• Conduct quality audits and adhere to company procedures.

• Provide training to customers and team members as needed.

• Perform additional duties in line with business needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous electrical mechanical experience 

• Proven experience installing and servicing a range of access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.

• Experience with fire alarm systems, ideally GENT-based.

• Relevant IT or Electrical/Electronic qualifications.

• Solid understanding of technical IT (e.g., Windows OS installation, networking).

• Basic electrical knowledge, such as measuring voltage and current.

• Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance.

• A team player who can perform under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including participation in a 24/7 call-out rota.
