We’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a growing team, covering the Taunton and South Bristol region. This is a great opportunity to work with industry-leading systems and technology, offering both challenge and reward in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Respond to maintenance calls on-site and remotely as directed.

• Aim to resolve faults on the first visit wherever possible.

• Conduct regular preventative maintenance visits.

• Collect and document site configuration information.

• Maintain vehicle stock levels for essential parts and equipment.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work.

• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

• Commission small projects when required.

• Perform audits in line with quality procedures.

• Deliver training to customers and colleagues.

• Support with other tasks as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in electromechanical systems.

• Proven background installing and servicing:

  • Access control systems

  • CCTV systems

  • Intruder alarms

• Experience with fire alarm systems—ideally GENT-based.

• Electrical, Electronic or IT-related qualifications.

• Strong technical IT knowledge (e.g. Windows OS, networking).

• Understanding of basic electrical principles (e.g. voltage/current testing).

• Excellent attention to detail and paperwork accuracy.

• A proactive team player who remains calm under pressure and maintains professionalism.
