Job Title: Fire & Life Safety Systems EngineerLocation: London and surrounding areas Salary: Up to £40,000/OTE £44,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire & Life Safety Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, for the London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fault finding and investigations on Fire Detection, Alarm, Emergency Lighting systems, Nurse Call and Staff Attack systems together with Access Control and Intercom systems.  CCTV and Intruder Alarm knowledge advantageous.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fire and security systems.

• Participate in 24/7/365 On-Call Rota for out-of-hours callouts and phone support.

• Carry out repair, commissioning and installation of conventional and analogue addressable fire alarm systems to high standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Full understanding to BS5839/BS7671/BS5266-1

• Experience of conventional and addressable fire systems across a range of manufacturers equipment - Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Apollo, Hochiki, Gent

• Understanding of Emergency Lightning Systems and Nurse Call Systems 

• Experience of Access Control and intercom systems - Paxton, RGL, Fermax, Videx

• Electrical or electronic background
