Job Description:

We are seeking a Fire Alarm/Extinguisher Engineer to join our team, responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of fire extinguishers, basic fire alarms, and emergency lighting systems. The ideal candidate will be BAFE certified, with experience in fire safety systems and a strong ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repairs of fire extinguishers, basic fire alarm systems, and emergency lights.
• Diagnose faults, repair, and replace failed or faulty devices and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct upselling and cross-selling of fire safety ancillary products such as emergency signage and other related products.
• Schedule and manage your daily and weekly work autonomously.
• Participate in a 1-in-16 emergency callout rota, earning £210 per week standby plus double-time pay for attending callouts.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Fire Extinguisher/Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
• BAFE certification or equivalent qualification for working on fire extinguishers.
• Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Package Includes:

• Basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
• Additional monthly earnings of £600+ through commission and bonuses (uncapped).
• Company van with fuel card and parking apps.
• £210 per week standby pay for emergency callout rota, plus double time for callouts.
