Fire and Security Engineering Manager 

Location : Office Based - Wiltshire

Salary : £45,000

Mon-Fri - 8:30-17:00

Job Summary :

Be responsible for the day-to-day control and management of our Installation and service department. The Engineering Manager will allocate projects to Install Engineers and will ensure that this work is executed efficiently and effectively and always in a safe and professional manner. In addition, the engineering manager will work closely with the Service manager to ensure maintenance and resources are appropriately allocated to ensure responses are met.

Responsibilities : 

• Lead the installation and service engineering team – including all subcontractors, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
• Manage day-to-day works – ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of installation and service work.
• Ensure installation stockholding is at functional levels – in engineer vehicles and within the stores, working with the install engineers and procurement coordinator.
• Take responsibility for all works managed – including pre-project technical evaluation, kit accuracy, installation quality, paperwork audits, and site-based surveys.
• Ensure projects are installed within the allocated timescales – and communicate any delays or issues immediately to the line manager.
• Oversee all paperwork to ensure NSI standards – making sure all documentation is accurate and up to date according to industry standard

Desirable:

• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Experience in the security systems industry, particularly in CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire safety.
