Multi Skilled Fire Service and Maintenance Engineer - Oxford

Salary: £39k DOE, £45k+ OTE

This is a role that will include the maintenance and repair of control systems and facilitating the Health & Safety procedures and requirements within the contract, whilst providing technical advice to both our employees and clients. The successful candidate will operate in diverse environments on a daily basis and across various locations.

About the Company: My client is a leading national provider of fire safety, security, and electrical services for the Social Housing sector. Having secured numerous new contracts, we are actively seeking experienced engineers to perform installations, testing, inspections, and repairs as part of our skilled team. Our primary focus is on progression, learning, and ensuring the safety of tenants, making attention to detail, effective communication, and pride in one's work essential.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too;

• Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1), emergency lighting systems, Nurse Call, and Access Control in compliance with relevant British Standards.
• Correctly complete engineer service reports.
• Report deficiencies or deviations in systems.
• Report on and maintain emergency lighting systems and other associated equipment, such as fire extinguishers, AOVs, etc.
• Conduct regular van stock checks and collaborate with the Engineering Technical Supervisor and Procurement Department to keep stock replenished and appropriately stocked.
• Maintain a Health and Safety mindset, identifying potential risks associated with the role and promptly reporting any issues to support the ongoing safety of oneself and others.
