Security Engineer

Are you a multiskilled Fire & Security Engineer or perhaps experienced in Fire OR Security and looking to develop and grown your knowledge? We have a fantastic opportunity available for the right person to grow and develop with our clients team based in Limerick covering the Munster region. 

Overview of the role: 

• Fire & Security Install Engineers wanted 
• As an Install Engineer on my clients Projects team, you provide technical and engineer support to ongoing and new projects within the business.

Objective of the role: 

• Install, Programming, Commissioning, testing & hand over of security systems including: 
• CCTV 
• Access Control 
• Intruder Alarms 
• Fire systems 

Responsibilities / Duties :

• To provide detailed PDA job sheets for all works carried out including site surveys, call-outs, installations. 
• To provide technical support for B Secure where required i.e. New connections 
• To provide technical support for call-outs / faults 
• Mentor junior engineers to raise their skill levels to that of senior engineers
• Weekly updates with managers and works progress

Skills set

• Excellent troubleshooting skills 
• Ability to work on own initiative 
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards 
• Reporting skills 
• Full clean drivers licence 
• Gent Fire knowledge not required but an advantage
