Security Engineer – Installation & Service

Location: Hampshire (UK & occasional Europe travel)Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE (OTE up to £50,000)Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support a growing portfolio across healthcare and commercial sites. The role is mainly based in Hampshire, covering three hospital sites, alongside commercial installations and service work.

This is a stable, long-term role with varied work and optional European travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Intercom systems

• Work in live hospital (NHS) and commercial environments

• Fault-finding and system diagnostics

• Complete job reports and compliance documentation

• Provide occasional on-call support (mostly remote)

• Travel across the UK and Europe (mainly optional and incentivised)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer (installation & service)

• Strong commercial systems background

• Confident working independently

• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Professional, customer-focused approach

• Valid British passport 

Salary & Package

• £30,000 – £40,000 basic (flexible for the right candidate)

• Paid overtime

• Fully expensed European travel + £40 daily food allowance
