Commissioning Engineer – Fire Systems

Location: DublinSalary: Up to €61,000 (DOE) + vehicle & benefits

We’re supporting a well-established fire & life safety provider in Dublin who are looking to appoint an experienced Fire Commissioning Engineer.

This is a senior-level position focused on commissioning complex fire detection, alarm and suppression systems across commercial and enterprise environments.

If you’re comfortable taking projects from design through to handover - this is worth a conversation.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Commissioning fire detection, alarm & suppression systems to agreed specifications• Working to IS3218 & IS3217 standards• Managing large and technically complex fire strategies• Commissioning graphics systems• Working with air sampling systems & advanced detection• Supporting sales with technical input on site surveys• Completing certification & documentation accurately• Deputising for management when required

This is a client-facing role where technical confidence and communication matter.

Experience Required

• 3+ years in a similar commissioning role• Strong knowledge of conventional & addressable systems• Experience with major fire alarm brands• Commissioning large projects with complex cause & effect• Knowledge of suppression systems (standard & complex)• Experience with disabled refuge & PA/VA systems• Strong understanding of Irish fire standards• Full clean driving licence• Electrical background desirable
